breadbag

this one i made to keep our self made bread fresh! We kept on baking for a long time(it must have been over a year) but then we stopped. The children called it pre-historic bread. because the took big humps of it to school. They could not cut it in proper slices. I mis the smell of this freshly baked bread. It used to climb up into our attic bedroom, then you could fall asleep with that lovely smell!!mmm must bake again!!

You made your own bread? Waw. I've always wanted to do that but I never seem to get it right. Most of the time it would come out flat as a squirrel hit by three trucks, so I eventually stopped trying to be a baker. But you did succeed! I'm overwhelmed with joy. I can imagine how the smell of freshly baked bread spreads around the house leaving a wonderful odour for all to enjoy the simple things in life. But your children were ashamed of your bread? Even if the scent was probably the best scent in the schoolcantine? Shame on your children I'd say. So girl, bake the bread, and let them children know what wholesome food is. Even Joseph (and Dolly Parton for that matter) weren't ashamed of their coat of many colours.
